About the job

  • Your day-to-day work will take place in the restaurant, and most of your time will be spent on the floor together with your team and the guests.
  • Together with the Restaurant Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the daily management of the restaurant, with your employees being your greatest asset.
  • You are the Restaurant Manager’s right-hand person and, in close collaboration, you will ensure that everything comes together seamlessly.
  • The role includes, but is not limited to, building a strong team of supervisors and employees, whose motivation is your top priority—because you know that without your staff, nothing works.
  • In addition, you are responsible for ensuring that staffing levels are always spot on during your shifts, including compliance with the budgeted labor percentage and overall financial management.
  • You may also be responsible for secondary areas such as beverage inventory, ordering supplies, developing menus, wine and cocktail lists, optimizing restaurant operations, service standards, cleanliness, and more.

We are looking for

  • A dedicated leader with a passion for service and management who loves working with guests. You enjoy the buzz when the restaurant is full on a Friday night, but you are just as present and engaged on a quieter Tuesday evening.
  • You love developing both leadership talent and employees, and you think it’s exciting to be part of a young, dynamic team.
  • You have management experience from the industry

  • You are good at planning service and equally skilled at delegating tasks in a motivating and constructive way

  • You have a positive, can-do attitude and see challenges rather than problems

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, while also enjoying in-depth planning of restaurant operations and optimization

  • You take financial responsibility and lead by example to ensure profitable operations

  • You are experienced in working with KPIs and love making today better than yesterday

  • You are comfortable working evenings and weekends

  • The position is 25–30 hours per week, with the possibility of more hours.
