Termination and Flexibility
The agreement continues until terminated by either party with the agreed notice period. If no notice period is specified, the default notice is the current month plus three months. During the notice period, the number of daily meals may not be reduced by more than 20% of the amount stated in the contract. The notice period does not apply during an agreed trial period.
For the final delivery, a double transport fee will be charged, as tableware must be collected on the following business day.
Flexibility
- The customer may pause deliveries for up to 15 business days during the summer holiday period and between Christmas and New Year.
- In exceptional cases, the customer may request a one-week pause once per year under special circumstances.
- Any agreement for longer pauses than those included in the standard terms will always be time-limited and will add an additional binding period. For example, if a pause lasts one month, this will be added to the standard notice period of the current month plus three months, resulting in a notice period of the current month plus four months.
Minimum Order and Forecasting
To receive a lunch catering service from Madklubben Catering, a minimum order of five daily meals applies unless otherwise agreed.
The total number of daily meals may be reduced by a maximum of 20% compared with the quantity stated in the contract.
Orders for the following week must be submitted through our lunch ordering portal no later than Wednesday at 10:00. After this deadline, orders may be adjusted daily by +/- 10% before 10:00 on the day prior to delivery.
Delivery Prices
Copenhagen City, Frederiksberg and the bridge districts, as well as the following postcodes: 2300, 2400, 2450, 2600, 2605, 2610, 2650, 2660, 2700, 2720, 2730, 2740, 2820, 2860, 2900 and 2920:
DKK 160 excluding VAT per delivery. Deliveries requested outside the standard lunch hours of 11:00–13:00 may be subject to a separate agreement.
For deliveries outside these areas, the delivery price is determined individually based on distance.
The above delivery prices assume that delivery will not take place before 11:00. If delivery is required earlier, this must be agreed separately. In cases where the delivery location presents particular challenges (e.g. no lift), an additional fee may be applied.
Due to general traffic conditions, special events or adverse weather, the agreed delivery time may vary by +/- 30 minutes.
Service (plates, platters, bowls, etc.)
All service items (plates, platters, bowls, etc.) must be emptied of food residue, rinsed after use and placed in the provided crates, which must be left in a visible location for collection by the courier the following day.
If the service items are not emptied, a fee of DKK 5 per cover may be charged. If the items are not packed in the supplied crates, an additional fee may be applied in accordance with the courier’s current rates.
Once the service has been delivered to the customer, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all items are returned in proper condition. If any service items, crates or other equipment are not returned, the customer will be invoiced for the cost of replacement.
During holiday periods or public holidays, we reserve the right to collect the service on the final delivery day. The customer will be invoiced for this collection.

Menu plan
Customers usually receive the weekly menu plan by email no later than Monday morning. The menu is also published on our website, where it can be downloaded or printed as needed.
Payment
All prices are exclusive of VAT.
If payment is more than 7 days overdue, lunch deliveries will be suspended immediately and without further notice.
Invoices are issued every 14 days, with payment terms of net 8 days unless otherwise agreed.
Regardless of any dispute, the customer is not entitled to withhold payment.
The supplier cannot be held liable for penalties or charges that exceed the value of one day’s lunch delivery.
The supplier is not responsible for covering the cost of third-party deliveries or any expenses related to procuring such services.
Price Adjustments
We reserve the right to make quarterly price adjustments based on the consumer price index published on dst.dk. As a minimum, prices will be adjusted annually on 31 December by 3%.
Right of Withdrawal
Under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act, sections 17(2) and 9(2), the right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases of food or other goods intended for regular household consumption, whether bought in public places such as markets or delivered directly to the consumer.
Food Safety
We comply with all applicable food safety regulations in the preparation, storage and transport of our meals, and we document this continuously through our self-monitoring system. This system is designed to ensure that the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration’s recommended three-hour rule can be met for serving up to 13:00, without any requirement for refrigeration or hot holding. We cannot be held liable for how the lunch buffet is handled once it has been delivered and set out.

Other Terms
If a dental injury occurs as a result of consuming food produced and delivered by Madklubben Catering, the affected person must contact our customer service by email at frokost@madklubben.dk.
The email should include:
A brief description of the incident and the injury
Supporting evidence of any foreign object
Our customer service team will then get in touch with the affected party and provide a form to complete with the necessary details to report the claim to Madklubben Catering’s insurance provider.
Liability
Liability in cases of dental injury is determined solely by Madklubben Catering’s insurance. The insurance will also decide on any coverage for repair or treatment costs. Liability can only be assigned to Madklubben Catering if the injury is caused by a foreign object in the food, which must be documented with photographs.
If the injury arises from other causes, the affected party’s own insurance is responsible for covering the costs.
Accordingly, neither Madklubben Catering nor its employees can be held liable for any injury, regardless of any statements made.
Any alternative compensation or service provided in connection with a dental claim is offered purely as a goodwill gesture to assist the affected party and cannot be interpreted as an admission of liability.
Data Policy
When you, as a business or employee, register for our products, we collect your name and email address so we can send you our newsletters, including weekly menus. We process your data based on the consent you provide when signing up for one of our lunch plans. You can unsubscribe at any time directly through the newsletters we send.
In certain cases, we may also collect additional information, such as your postal code or other details you provide. This information is used to tailor the offers and updates we send to you.
