The team behind Bazaar has figured it out. The recipe for the good life involves warmth, good food, good people, and good wine. At least, that's the thesis behind their latest addition - La Bodega.
On the menu, you'll find larger dishes like lobster, redfish, and black-footed pork with chorizo béarnaise. The kitchen also serves a variety of small dishes such as padrón peppers, stracciatella, croquettes, and various types of charcuterie. The wine menu features both light and heavy wines from major wine regions – all the way from Southern Europe to Australia.
In Denmark, the word "bodega" holds a special meaning with the cultural history of beer taverns. However, when you head south, the meaning is more like a cozy restaurant with small dishes, where you can be sure the atmosphere is lively and the wine glasses are full.

The heart of La Bodega is the food. And trust us when we say that the head chef has his heart in the right place. The food is made with love and French cooking traditions and is highly inspired by the Southern European kitchen. Everything on the menu is tested and seasoned with a passion, as if it was the ending scene of Titanic.

Christian runs Bazaar, Tonys and Madklubben København - and now also La Bodega. He has been a part of the Madklubben-family for almost ten years. You can find him in Barcelona at least once a year. If you look for the local bodegas you will surely find him. They ignited his dream to open a restaurant exactly like them in Denmark.
