Close to Amagerbro Metro station you will find Madklubben Amager. With almost seven meters to the ceiling and scoured concrete walls, it’s the perfect setting for our take on a modern dining house. A place with room for everyone. Both those who come for the classic restaurant experience and those who pop in for a quick dinner.
Rooted in the Danish dining traditions, you will find a selection of smørrebrød for lunch and familiar dishes in the evening in a contemporary interpretation. On the lunch menu you will find, among other things, curry herring, chicken salad and smoked salmon, complemented by a wide range of carefully selected schnapps.
The nostalgia continues into the evening, where classics such as shrimp cocktail and schnitzel are on the menu, accompanied by Madklubben signature dishes such as steak frites and tartar.
CLASSIC DANISH DINNER DISHES
As an addition to the menu, you will find ‘Madklubbens aftensmad’. An institution at Madklubben Amager, where you can give everyday life a little boost with new interpretations of some of the most loved Danish dinner dishes. Among other things, you can get boeuf bourguignon, tartlets and Sunday roast.

At Madklubben Amager it is possible to book a part of the restaurant for small and medium-sized groups. For large events, the entire restaurant can be booked with a total capacity of 150 guests.

Madklubben at Vesterbro now offers catering in Copenhagen either for gathering at home, workplace, or event. It is the same delicious quality as when you dine at the restaurant.
We offer a 3-course menu inspired by the food we serve at the restaurant on Vesterbrogade.
