Msa lkhir! Bazaar is a celebration of the Moorish kitchen. A celebration of a food culture that gathers both friends and family around the largest meal of the day. A food culture that extends all the way from Syria in East along the Mediterranean Sea and Spain all the way to Marocco in the Northern part of Africa. Bazaar is located in the old post office on Dronningens Tværgade where the architecture 60's meet a very urban cave-like vibe.

The music is loud. It is how it is meant to be. It makes the vibe grow to the exact level you are looking for on a night out. When you combine this with the flames from the grill in the kitchen, the awesome spices and the carefully selected dishes on the menu - you are in for a quite a night.

True to the Moorish cuisine most of the dishes are served family style. So pick your favorites  or choose the 10 course menu which is perfect for sharing. No matter what you choose we feel pretty sure that you won't leave neither hungry or thirsty.

The bar is open all week and the bartenders here are not just regular John Doe's. Whether, whiskey sours or one of our signature cocktails are your favorite. Rest assured that you are in for a treat, sadiqaa!

The job

  • Your day-to-day work will take place in the restaurant, and most of your time will be spent with your team and the guests on the floor.
  • Together with the restaurant manager, you will have overall responsibility for the daily operations of the restaurant, and your greatest asset is your staff. You are the restaurant manager’s right hand and will work closely with them to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • The job includes, but is not limited to, building a team of supervisors and employees, with your primary task being to keep them highly motivated, as you fully understand that without your staff, nothing works.
  • Furthermore, you are responsible for ensuring that staffing in the restaurant is always perfectly aligned during your shifts, including adhering to the budgeted labor cost percentage and general financial management.
  • In addition, there may be secondary responsibilities such as managing the beverage inventory, ordering supplies, preparing menus, wine lists, and cocktail menus, as well as optimizing the restaurant, service, cleanliness, and more.
  • You must be comfortable working evenings and weekends.

  • An engaged leader who is passionate about service and management and enjoys interacting with guests. You should thrive on the buzz of a fully booked restaurant on a Friday night, while being just as present and committed on a quieter Tuesday evening.
  • You love developing both leadership talent and employees, and you enjoy being part of a young, dynamic team.
  • You have management experience from the industry.
  • You are skilled at planning service and equally good at delegating and leading service in a motivating and constructive way.
  • You have a positive, can-do attitude and always see challenges rather than problems. You enjoy a fast-paced environment, while also appreciating the importance of thorough planning for the restaurant’s operations and optimization.
  • You are financially responsible and lead by example to ensure the restaurant operates profitably.
  • You are experienced in working with KPIs and are driven by continuously improving - making today better than yesterday.
