
RESTAURANT MANAGER
The Job
Your primary responsibility is to ensure that guests feel welcome and well taken care of, while also building and maintaining a well-functioning team of happy employees. You do this best by being present when the guests are, which means evening and weekend work should be expected.
In close collaboration with your colleagues in the kitchen, you will be responsible for the daily management and oversight of the restaurant’s activities. It is your responsibility to ensure proper staffing levels and that the wine cellar is well stocked.
Since these tasks cannot be handled alone, we expect you to be able to delegate and lead in a positive manner, maintaining a healthy and supportive work environment in the restaurant. It is therefore essential that you are passionate about creating a great workplace for your team and understand how to motivate your employees.
We Are Looking For
The job requires strong organizational skills and an even stronger passion for service. You should enjoy the bustling atmosphere of a busy weekend, but also take pleasure in providing attentive service to a table of two on a quieter Tuesday evening. Experience from larger restaurants is preferred. The role also carries significant responsibility for managing a team of young employees, so leadership experience is a must. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are an advantage.
