Food Club on Skolegade in Esbjerg is a laid-back spot where you can eat and drink as much as you’d like within a set time frame for one fixed price. It’s all about being together, eating well and not worrying about the bill.

Our buffet is packed with something for everyone: meat, fish, veggies, colourful salads, hot dishes and desserts that the chefs keep topping up. The price also includes several kinds of draft beer, wine on tap, soft drinks and lemonade. And of course soft ice from Hansen with homemade toppings and cakes to round off the evening.

The job 

A day in the role of souschef will involve leadership and delegation, optimizing the schedule, financial management, ordering supplies, maintaining quality, and ensuring cleanliness. Alongside cooking and handling tickets, you will need to motivate the team and brief the floor on the evening’s service.

You might also face challenges, such as a malfunctioning dishwasher, that you'll need to manage concurrently. Success means running an evening with fantastic food, served on time with a positive attitude, and with happy colleagues who feel motivated, inspired, and appreciated in your presence.

There will be ongoing menu changes related to the seasons, and you will participate in the development of dishes and recipes, as well as managing the associated costs.
