Madklubben Vesterbro is looking for an experienced and ambitious Executive Chef who wants to help shape the next chapter in the restaurant’s history.
We are relaunching our iconic restaurant with a new menu and a fully updated interior—still true to our roots in classic cuisine, but with a modern expression and an accessibility that makes everyone feel welcome.
As Executive Chef, you will be the driving force behind our culinary identity and a co-creator of a dining destination where quality, warmth, and everyday luxury go hand in hand. If you are passionate about flavor, seasonality, and innovation, and want to help set the direction for a high-energy, guest-focused restaurant, you might be the one we are looking for.
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in a kitchen leadership role
Is a skilled craftsman and passionate foodie, with a genuine interest in detail and flavor
Approaches challenges with a positive “can-do” attitude
Excels at time management and prioritizing tasks
Is a strong leader and a savvy operator, eager to learn and grow
Is competitive and thrives on KPIs to measure personal and team performance
Is used to high-volume, fast-paced environments and can adapt when needed
Leads by example, keeping a cool head while delivering results every day
Is creative and full of ideas, willing to go the extra mile to provide guests with experiences beyond their expectations
Can communicate effectively in both Danish and English, as the team is international
