This year, we have put together a catering New Year's menu, with a focus on upholding traditions while still challenging your taste buds. The menu comes in three different variations, so there is a New Year's menu for you whether you prefer a classic, pescetarian, or vegetarian option as your last meal of the year.
The menu is built on the same foundation that Anders Aagaard, the founder of the food club, has used to build the restaurants. It's about taste, quality, accessibility, and spending time together with the people around you. With Madklubben's New Year's menu, you are guaranteed a menu of genuine ingredients, seasoned by skilled chefs. This way, you can spend the evening with your guests rather than working tirelessly in the kitchen. So, you'll be ready for the Queen's New Year's speech, fireworks, and party poppers.
The menu consists of either three or four courses, following the classic structure of starter, intermediate course, main course, and dessert. You can mix and match as you please between the classic, pescetarian, and vegetarian versions of the menu. So whether you prefer roasted beef tenderloin, turbot, or salt-baked celery for the main course, you can order something to suit every palate.
You can order and pick up Madklubben's New Year's menu in almost the entire country - Copenhagen, Herlev, Lyngby, Aarhus, Odense & Esbjerg. More specific information about pickup locations can be found below.
New Year's Eve is about spending time with each other. Therefore, we have designed a New Year's Eve menu which we a 100% can vouch for so you don't have you worry about a thing.

We do not offer special children's menus.
Observe: It is not possible to change or swap any of the courses in the New Year's Eve menus.

In which cities can I order the New Year's menu?
You can order and pick up Madklubben's menu in 2023 in the following cities: Copenhagen, Lyngby, Herlev, Aarhus, Odense, and Esbjerg.

When and where can I collect the New Year's menu?
Time and locations will be announced in the beginning of autumn 2023.
You can pick up your New Year's menu from 30th-31st of December.
– On the 30th of December you can pick it up between 15.00-20.00
– On the 31st of December you can pick it up between 09.00-14.00
Pick-up must occur within a precise 15-minute window. You select your exact pick-up time when you order your New Year's menu.
Note: Pickup on Amager and in Esbjerg is only available on December 31st.

Absolutely not. We store all menus in cold rooms. Which means that the food you get has been one day in the fridge. On the other hand you don't have to think about collecting the food on New Year's Eve if you pick it up the day before.

When is the last day I can place an order?
This will be clarified as we approach autumn 2023.
The final order date for Madklubben's New Year's menus will be on the 28th of December 2023, at 12:00 PM (noon). Please note that the menus may sell out before this date, so reservations are subject to availability.

Order and payment
Our New Year's menus can be ordered for many or few. For our classic menu, the minimum order is 2 servings, for the pescetarian menu it's 2 servings, and for the vegetarian menu it's 1 serving.
When you have placed an order, you will receive a confirmation on email.
Payment will be charged by the end of your order. You can use Mobile Pay or credit card as a form of payment. Please note that it is not possible to pay with gift cards.
Be aware of credit card fees: Company cards issued both within or outside of EU/EØS and private payment cards issued outside of EU/EØS are imposed to pay a fee. All transactions made with an American Express are charged a fee.

If you regret your purchase of New Year's catering, you can cancel and receive a refund until December 11, 2023 at 12:00 PM (noon). After this time, it will not be possible to cancel your purchase or receive a refund. However, it is possible to transfer your purchase to another recipient.
After December 11, you will not be able to remove items from your order. If you wish to add more servings, this can be done through our self-service, as long as stock is available.

News Year's eve
The starter sets the course for the menu. A traditional New Year's Eve dish with lots of flavour and good ingredients.
Classic/pescetarian:
Lobster bisque with salad of poached lobster and pickled fennel. Served with harissa oil, chervil, and sourdough bread.
Vegetarian:
Chanterelle bisque with a crispy mushroom croquette and pickled fennel. Served with tarragon oil, chervil, and sourdough bread.
Vol-au-vent. Or in English - tartlet.
Loved by many - and for a good reason.
Classic/ Seafood:
Vol-au-vent with scallops, hand-peeled shrimps, and crayfish tails in creamy champagne sauce. Served with spinach, Jerusalem artichokes, trout roe and nasturtium.
Vegetarian:
Vol-au-vent with butternut squash, roasted chestnuts, and truffle in creamy champagne sauce. Served with spinach, Jerusalem artichokes, seaweed beads and nasturtium.
This year's last big meal. And what a meal. Hopefully you will remember your main course until next year.
Classic:
Beef tenderloin with Pommes Meier baked with North Sea cheese and thyme. Served with blackcurrant glazed beets, salsa verde-filled poached onions, beef demi-glace and watercress.
Pescetarian:
Fried halibut with Pommes Meier baked with North Sea cheese and thyme. Served with blackcurrant glazed beets, salsa verde-filled poached onions, porcini sauce and watercress.
Vegetarian:
Glazed celeriac with Pommes Meier baked with North Sea cheese and thyme. Served with blackcurrant glazed beets, salsa verde-filled poached onions, porcini sauce and watercress.
Nothing is complete without dessert. Chocolate with... chocolate... with chocolate.
Classic/Fish/Vegetarian:
Intense dark chocolate cake with vanilla mousse and pickled blackberries. With a crumble of pistachios, white chocolate, black currant, and red sorrel.
